Description
This is the minimum training required by the State of Maryland to apply for a permit to carry a concealed firearm.
The sixteen hour class dives deeply into the application process, navigating the Maryland State Police web site, Basics handgun types and how they function, interacting with the police while carrying a handgun, Maryland deadly force laws, handgun selection, holster selection and use, ammunition characteristics, basic marksmanship, Maryland Firearm Law and much more.
Cost is $350 for both days. Students should have a handgun and at least 50 rounds of ammunition and a holster. Maryland dictates a 25 round qualification course to pass the class. Students must hit a person sized silhouette target 18 out of 25 times. Distances include 3 yards, 5 yards, 7 yards and 15 yards.

No one can guarantee that you will get the permit. Beware of companies that do. Our students have a high success rate because we screen them prior to paying for the class!
Classroom is informal, clean and safe. NO FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.
Snacks and non alcoholic drinks are welcome each day but please do not feed the instructor.
The class is a mandatory 16 hour class. Students must attend BOTH days.
